I wouldn't bet on it Alfs, the bloke is pretty much finished as far as I can see.

Carroll described as a "balsa-wood blunderbuss" on one betting web site :-)

Hopefully he will last more than one game without getting a knock.

"Take comfort in the fact I've been wrong every time this season when I've said we'd get beaten soundly."

I am now furnished with said comfort. Thank you.

Steady on! That's the worst thing you can say to a person! Genuinely hurt.

Apologies, I find it hard to be positive first thing with a hangover. Take comfort in the fact I've been wrong every time this season when I've said we'd get beaten soundly.

PD

My rule is that if I am wrong and someone has shows me that, I will say it.

The irony is you just did "respond" and "liase" with me, mate. And remember that it was you that "liased" in the first place. This is your party.

I had no problem with you, you didn't exist at all to me really. You come steaming in, (some might say all high and mighty), I thought it was funny because you did so with your facts wrong. You made it a thing and I will respond to that, especially when people's fact are wrong.

You keep going and try to argue for your point by saying that no one had played in two weeks when in fact most had, in a friendly that you didn't know or forgot about - a friendly designed to give or keep match fitness (why else?,) the point of the discussion.

So at that point, you have been responding regularly and suddenly stop. You could have said you were wrong about that point even if you still believe your original idea but you didn't. You leave the thread for a while and if you come back like you did, I thought you might address that.

Ogbonna will have been out five (not four, not two) weeks, from his managers mouth he has trained two or three days and he was not able to participate in friendly in order to gain match fitness. I would not start him given that, especially in a very secondary position.

If the manager decided starting him is best, I will defer to him and if Angelo plays well, I will say I am wrong and be happy about (because it is good for West Ham.) You should try that sometime.

'advice' ffs..

Re: Cresswell and Reid doubtful for Saturday
ioc - Genuine bit of advise as you don't seem to know the 'rules' around here. If you are 'debating' something with another poster and said other poster stops responding it usually means that they have accepted that they were wrong and leave it with a dignified silence,or they can't be bothered with it any more, or maybe go out and forget all about it. Trying to call someone back into the affair some time later just makes you look like a fucking child, or a right royal wanker. Take it or leave it.

They are not world beaters and we can get a result provided we do not give too much space to their wide men - particularly Zaha. The wide midfield players have some defending to do.

Whenever I have seen Palace on the box I have been surprised and impressed by the quality of Puncheon. Need to keep him quiet as well.

Re: Cresswell and Reid doubtful for Saturday
Quite punchy on here this morning, WHO never sleeps clearly.

I think we're going to get soundly beaten today and this place will go into meltdown. I don't think our defence will cope very well with quick tricky cunts like Bolasie and Zaha and its nailed on that if he plays Cabaye will score against us. Plus we've been shit lately. Boooooooooo.

Ha ha, here they all come, one after the other. Yea calling out IOC for being a prick really 'confirns' it. Groundbreaking stuff.

Nothing worse than a poster that carries a grudge over something so trivial. Another mug. Stop taking this site so seriously you soppy bag of piss.
